Terms of Service

1. What the Service is

ExpatConnect Valencia is a community information and preparation-support platform for people building a life in Valencia. We publish guides, surface community events, and offer paid plans that include personalised preparation help, deeper Lola Admin Pro assistance, reminders, saved planning and partner visibility.

2. Not legal, tax or immigration advice

Lola Admin Pro and all guides on the Service provide general information and preparation support only. They do not constitute legal, immigration, tax, medical or psychological advice. For formal advice on your specific circumstances, you must consult a qualified lawyer, gestor, asesor fiscal, medical professional or relevant official authority.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a paid subscription. By purchasing a plan you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in EUR on the pricing page. Payment is processed through our payment provider (Stripe). By purchasing you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide for the plan you choose. For recurring plans, payment is taken at the start of each billing period until cancelled.

Founding offers are limited-quantity. We may close founding offers when limits are reached.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. For refunds, see our refund policy.

6. Partner listings

Partners agree to provide accurate information about their service, to honour the visibility tier they purchase, and to respect the calm, community-spirited tone of the platform. We may decline, remove or refund any listing that misrepresents itself, harms the community, or breaches Spanish or EU law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Service, attempt to compromise its security, scrape its content beyond personal use, send unsolicited messages through it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

8. Intellectual property

Content on the Service is © ExpatConnect Valencia unless otherwise marked. Guides may be shared and quoted with attribution. The platform name, branding and visual identity are reserved.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpatConnect Valencia is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service and in a notification email where relevant. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Valencia.
